Federal stimulus funding has been allocated to help complete the flyover direct connect interchange between US 183 and the Manor Expressway. As a result, the Mobility Authority is prioritizing construction of these interchanges, as well as right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation on a 1.4-mile stretch of the Manor Expressway between US 183 and Chimney Hill Drive to ensure the new flyovers operate efficiently. Construction on this section of the Manor Expressway will begin in early 2010 and could begin opening to traffic by late 2012.

SHORT TERM CLOSURES
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURE ALERT: Thurs. Sept. 9
The following lanes will be closed Thursday, Sept 9, 7pm to 6am.
- The southbound US 183 inside lane from US 290 to Manor Road
- The westbound US 290 left inside lane from Ridgepoint Dr. to US 183
- The eastbound US 290 left inside lane from US 183 to Ridgepoint Drive
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURE ALERT: Fri. Sept. 10
The eastbound US 290 right outside lane will be closed from US 183 to Ridgepoint Dr., Friday, Sept 10, 7pm to 6am.
LONG TERM CLOSURES
EXIT RAMP CLOSURE: US 183 southbound exit ramp, between US 290 and Manor Rd, will be closed beginning Thursday, August 19, 2010 and is anticipated to reopen February 1, 2011 to perform work on substructures. US 183 southbound exit ramp traffic will need to use the Cameron Rd exit.
ENTRANCE RAMP CLOSURE: US 183 Southbound entrance ramp, between Cameron Rd and US 290, will be closed beginning August 4 and through December 31, 2010. US 183 Southbound entrance ramp traffic will need to continue Southbound on the frontage road to the next entrance ramp south of Manor Rd.
U-TURN CLOSURE: The Southbound to Northbound US 183 turn-around at US 290 will be closed intermittently beginning August 5 through November 1, 2010. The turn around will be closed only when work is being performed on the adjacent bridge column. U-turn traffic is to continue south, turn left at eastbound 290 frontage Rd. and then left at the Northbound 183 frontage Rd.
